| Job Title: Coronado Day School Director Salary: This position is salaried full-time ranging from $40,000 to $46,000 annually, depending on experience. The Coronado Day School Director partners with the CCUMC Leadership and staff, along with the Day School staff and families, to oversee the growth and development of the Coronado Day School. The Director recognizes the Coronado Day School is a vital ministry of Coronado Community United Methodist Church. The school offers six classes total for children ages 1 to VPK. The Director supervises a staff of 14. School hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, including summers. Specific Job Duties: Ensures the day school is staffed with quality individuals by interviewing and screening candidates and that once hired ensures they maintain proper training and credentialing. Ensures the Department of Children and Families ratio standards are met. Maintains and stays in compliance of all DCF regulations regarding student files, employee records and federal food program files. Ensure the day school staff have all the supplies, equipment and support they need to be effective. Complies with CCUMC and Florid Conference Financial Policies and Controls. Required: Florida Childcare and Education Program Director’s Credential Child Development Associate Credential Working knowledge of DCF rules & regulations. American Red Cross first aid certified and infant, child & adult CPR certified. Preferred: A minimum of three years previous experience in childcare, preferably as a director in a Christian environment or equivalent combination of training and experience.
