Our History

We are now the Christian Preschool Association!

In 2023, we officially changed our name from the United Methodist Association of Preschools (UMAP) to the Christian Preschool Association. For over 30 years, UMAP worked with churches and early childhood programs in the Florida United Methodist Conference and other conferences around the country. We are a faith-based National Accrediting Agency, which is recognized by the State of Florida with a Gold Seal designation. The Christian Preschool Association is a resource for training, support, mentoring and more! We are here to help you provide the best early childhood program your church can offer. Parents want quality programs; we help schools get there!
